Scott adopted him on October 16, 2016, and five days later he started the channel. With two parents, two brothers, and two siblings, Scott was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. Oliver was born on what date and where?

The 1830s in England see the birth of Oliver Twist in a workhouse. Just after Oliver is born, his mother, whose name is unknown, is discovered on the street and passes away. Oliver is moved to an adult workhouse after spending the first nine years of his life in a poorly run home for young orphans. The parish beadle, Mr. Bumble, offers five pounds to anyone who will take the boy out of the workhouse after the other boys bully Oliver into asking for more gruel at the end of a meal. After narrowly avoiding becoming an apprentice to a violent chimney sweep, Oliver eventually becomes a worker for Mr. Dot Sowerberry, a local undertaker. Oliver attacks Noah Claypole after the undertaker’s other apprentice makes derogatory remarks about Oliver’s mother, earning the ire of the Sowerberrys. Oliver, who is in great need, flees at first light and heads for London.

Oliver, who is starving and exhausted, meets Jack Dawkins, a youngster his own age, outside of London. Jack offers him a place to stay in his friend Fagin’s London home. Fagin is a career criminal who employs orphan boys as his pickpockets, it turns out. Oliver receives a pickpocketing assignment with two other boys after a few days of training. Oliver is horrified and takes off when he sees them steal a handkerchief from an elderly man. He is discovered, but manages to avoid being found guilty of the theft. The man whose handkerchief was stolen, Mr. Brownlow, takes the feverish Oliver to his house and tends to his medical needs. Oliver’s similarity to a young woman in a painting that hangs in Mr. Brownlow’s home impresses him. Oliver thrives in Mr. Dot Brownlow’s home, but two teenagers in Fagin’s gang, Bill Sikes and his girlfriend Nancy, kidnap Oliver and give him back to Fagin.

Oliver is dispatched by Fagin to help Sikes commit a burglary. Oliver is killed by a house servant, and after Sikes flees, the women who live there—Mrs. Dot Maylie and her lovely adopted niece Rose—take him in. Oliver becomes a favorite among them, and he spends a wonderful summer in the countryside with them. Fagin, however, as well as a man only known as Monks, are determined to get Oliver back. Oliver’s mother left a gold locket behind when she passed away, it is made known in the meantime. That locket is obtained and then destroyed by monks. When the Maylies arrive in London, Nancy meets Rose in private and tells her about Fagin’s plans, but one of Fagin’s thugs overhears the conversation. When Sikes learns of Nancy’s revelation, he brutally kills her and leaves London. He accidentally hangs himself while attempting to flee from an angry mob and his guilty conscience.

Where did Oliver spend his formative years?

Oliver Twist, the titular character, travels throughout the book. Oliver, an orphan from birth, spends a large portion of his childhood in an orphanage with an excessive number of kids and insufficient food. About 70 miles from London, the farm is situated. After receiving his gruel one evening, Oliver requests a second serving. Oliver is hired as an apprentice by an undertaker because this behavior is unacceptable. After experiencing constant abuse, Oliver eventually flees and travels to London. He soon encounters the Artful Dodger, who instructs him to lodge with several other boys at the home of an “old gentleman” (named Fagin). Oliver learns that these young men have received pickpocket training. Oliver sees the boys steal a handkerchief from an elderly man named Mr. Brownlow while they are on a trip, which makes him flee in terror and bewilderment. Oliver is arrested after the elderly man interprets his actions as evidence of guilt. However, Mr. Brownlow realizes his error and offers to care for Oliver at his house after learning more about the man.

Oliver believes that Fagin and the pickpockets are no longer a problem, but after learning about his knowledge of their crimes, they start looking for him. Nancy, a prostitute and the mistress of Bill Sikes, one of Fagin’s men, is tasked with returning Oliver to Fagin from Mr. Dot Brownlow. Once she has done so successfully, Oliver is assigned to go on a burglary mission in the nearby countryside with another group member. After being shot in the arm while on this mission, Oliver is taken in by the Maylies, the family he tried to rob. While he is there, Fagin and a man by the name of Monks hatch a plan to bring him home. While visiting London with her family, Rose Maylie meets Mr. Dot Brownlow to speak with Nancy, who has escaped Sikes, to learn about the schemes Monks and Fagin have devised to get Oliver back. She gives them a description of Monks and lets them know when he might be captured the simplest. Unfortunately for Nancy, Sikes learns of her treachery and beats her to death. Shortly after, Sikes unintentionally hangs himself. Monks is compelled to defend himself when Oliver and Mr. Dot Brownlow are reunited. Oliver is then told that Monks is his half-brother and that he is entitled to a sizable fortune. The Maylies, Oliver, and Mr. Dot Brownlow move to the countryside
where they spend the rest of their days together after he receives his share of the money, Fagin is hanged, and the Maylies receive their share of the money.

Being a child worker after his father was placed in a debtors’ prison allowed Charles Dickens to firsthand experience London’s poverty. His understanding of the struggles faced by poor people remained with him for the rest of his life and was reflected in his journalistic writings and novels. Following the passage of the Poor Law of 1834, which forbade government assistance for the able-bodied poor from continuing unless they entered workhouses, Dickens began to write Oliver Twist. As a result, Oliver Twist was used as a platform for social criticism that was specifically directed at the issue of poverty in 19th-century London.

Despite being humble and selfless at heart, dogs frequently find their way into the spotlight and win the public’s love and adoration.

Unsurprisingly, some of the most famous dogs in history have appeared on film, lived through war, assisted in scientific discoveries, and comforted our servicemen.

But let’s take a trip down memory lane because you might not be familiar with some of these historic canine celebrities.

In the words of Rocky Kanaka, the Lemon Beagle is the rarest breed of Beagle.

The adorable beagle, a medium-sized hunting dog that is beloved by all, was bred to be the perfect ally for protracted horseback deer hunts, but many contemporary beagles have adapted to being wonderful couch snugglers. The gorgeous lemon beagle is one of the rarest and most valuable variations of the traditional beagle.

Lemon beagles are a color variation of the typical purebred beagle. Thus, by default, all lemon beagles are purebred beagles. The AKC recognizes the standard beagle for its stunning all-white, all-black, and all-brown tricolor coat, but a lemon beagle will have fur that looks almost solid white and the spots are a lighter lemon color!

Lemon beagles share the same personality and physical characteristics as standard purebred beagles because they are purebred by definition. The largest varieties of lemon beagles will be 13-15 inches tall and weigh roughly 20-30 pounds, while smaller varieties will reach a maximum height and weight of approximately 13 inches and 20 pounds.

While her mother sat next to her, what did she notice?

Oliver is set somewhere.

Oliver Twist, Charles Dickens’ second book, is the story of an orphan boy who uses his good nature and voracious appetite to get away from the dreadful underworld of crime and destitution in 19th-century London. It has established itself as one of the most well-liked books in literature’s history. This is the handwritten introduction to the 1850 “cheap edition” of the book by Charles Dickens. In it, he disputes assertions that “Jacob’s Island,” the squalid South London slum described in the book, did not actually exist. In order to improve the living conditions of the poor, he implores his readers to acknowledge the dire need for reforms.

From 1837 to 1839, the book was published in monthly installments. It creates a picture of a city tarnished by social deprivation by juggling suspense, melodrama, pathos, and humor. Dickens’s own experiences with poverty as a child must have been a source of inspiration for this frequently sarcastic commentary on the Poor Laws, which forced many into hard labor. Oliver and Dickens both had the benefit of a favorable outcome in the end.

The book, however, is generally much darker and gloomier than its numerous stage and screen adaptations: Fagin, the leader of the pickpocket gang, is hanged; Oliver’s half-brother steals his money and perishes in prison; Sikes murders Nancy before meeting a grisly end; and the Artful Dodger is sent to Australia.

Unfortunately, I cannot go back home for this Christmas due to covid regulations, which makes me very sad because my dogs are already over 6 years old, I don’t know if they will still be alive after I graduate, so I would like to be with them as much as possible. I am so excited about the app I feel I have a wonderful tool that I will share with patients and their families especially children. This will help me to break the ice and encourage them relax and breathe. I am a beagle gal have had 3 in my life. I look forward to the world slowing down and I will adopt another. Thank you for your laughter and kindness. You are a wonderful family.

  • I missed the livestream. So sorry but I’m enjoying perusal this now. The app sounds great & I’m going to download it! I’m Linda from New Jersey. My husband & I love beagles but can’t have one @ the present time as our teen daughter is allergic but we hope to have a beagle one day after she leaves the nest. I really enjoy Oliver articles as they brighten my day! Oliver makes me smile 😊! Wishing all of you a wonderful holiday season & thanks for the good news!

  • YouTube articles of Oliver and his family very well-thought-out and an overall positive experience to watch on YouTube! I do not have an iPhone or an iPad but I am sure the apps are as well thought-out and well put together as the YouTube articles. What can I say you know Oliver and his family have reached out and I think have just brought so much joy and positivity that is so well needed. There should be more Oliver’s and Oliver families in the world….

  • Hi Scott,Wayne,Oliver Congratulations on your new app. When you get the android version I will definitely download…I think I have been a subscriber for a couple years..What drew me here was I had a beagle .He passed away a few years ago,and Oliver reminds me of him..and Scott you are a decent man.. Some of the other YouTube or on IG the dogs were cute, but the owners were annoying, and teessing their dog..and Your a fellow Canadian.🇨🇦 The love and respect you show Oliver keeps me perusal, and of course the star of the show..He is an angel sleeping between you while your doing the live stream…Look at his face..so peaceful.. It is so nice to see you Wayne on camera more…This is a very long commitment..You have a lot to read..I look forward to all the upcoming articles…bye for now 🐶💙

  • Hello from kentucky!!! Your adventurous articles with Oliver have been one of my favorites since he was a very small puppy. I’ve never owned a pet of my own before but I’ve always wanted to get a beagle someday, so it always heightens my day seeing a new vid of him drop! Hope y’all have a wonderful christmas season also, and thanks so much for showing us what this goofy good boys up to!! ❤🎄

  • Virginia! I have 5 beagles in our house now. I was a dog walker at our local shelter for 12 years. Somehow older or hard to adopt beagles kept capturing our hearts and attention. Without meaning to I kept bringing beagles home. They are the “devil”we know. They are naughty and sweet all the time. They even saved me from getting mauled by a bear. They have hearts of gold and spirits of steel.

  • I had beagles for 56 years & my last one passed Oct. 2020 at 13 1/2 from cancer. I have written before, widow of 28 years now & derive such pleasure from Oliver. I am ill right now & replay his articles often. Please keep up the articles. I have Android phone so am unable to get the app but am waiting ✋🙃😫

  • Great livestream and article! The huge amount of unvisible work and time to prepare all of this cannot be appreciated enough! Just Oliver had a ‘btrak’ for 72 minutes. He probably didn’t sleep, how it looked like sometimes, but he more likely was listening to every word – and waiting for treats. … And he definitely knew that all of this was about him – and who is the cutest and most adorable beagle. Great ‘job’, ‘Cocker Spaniel’ from Germany. 😉🙋‍♀️

  • I had to go to the hospital today unexpected I hated that I didn’t get to be in the live stream I’m just in tears nearly because I missed it but I didn’t expect to get sick from a heart ailment but I’m back home now thank God…me and Arnold and the late bigfoot are in Kentucky..I’m going to watch this article to it’s entirety in a few minutes

  • Had many breeds and loved them all. Our Beagles loved every one and made friends with anyone. All were runners and we luckily found and kept them for long lives. They we’re all a bit more naughty then any of other breeds and much more fun than the others. Just a bit clownish. Yeah they don’t tolerate heat well

  • About having a second dog,if I can share my all life experience, don’t wait until he’s gone to adopt another dog because it is really not the good time. It is a sad subject, but from my experience it is easier to go thru that lost with another furry friend already part of the family. I always had two dogs with me but not of the same age ..in prévision for those very difficult end of life periods . My attachment to my dogs are so strong that after 14-15 years of attachment,my only way” to survive “ their lost is to be supported and love from another dog of mine …. This is me and how I deal with my furry friends having a much shorter life than me …. But right now I’m alone because my last dog died accidentally too young . I hope Oliver will bring you many many great years of pleasure because he will be leaving a very big void almost impossible to heal . Having another canine member already besides you,may be a good thing to think about in advance . Big Thanks 😊

  • About travelling Oliver IN the cabin . The famous novel writer Danielle Steel wrote a book about all the dogs she has in her life . She said that some Airplanes Companies (AIR France in her experience ) are allowing your dog “on your lap “ big or small AS A THERAPEUTIC PSYCHOLOGICAL AID for travelling . And in that case, the dog is travelling with you free in he cabin and out of his crate ! ! YOU JUST NEED A MEDICAL CERTIFICATE that is stating that you are unable to travel by airplane without the support of the dog . It is then consider as a therapy or assistant dog like for blind or handicap people . Maybe the rules have changed, but this was 7-8 years ago that I read this book of hers . She was flying between her two appartements, one in N-York and one in Paris many times all year around .

  • And also I must say Oliver makes me happy he is so so so cute with I would buy Moshe one grand and I hope this app goes really really well for you and I’ll see you in the next article if you want so yeah I hope that I’m not invaded anyone’s privacy he really does make me happy and he is the cutest dog a half of that no one even more he runs away when you bath and it is so funny because my boss don’t exactly the same person Luna what are friends for dogs and my family and that was done also and dogs are so so so cute and so so adorable what’s the source be happy even though that they sometimes annoy us and do hurtful things so that means I am happy and my name is Jordi your favourite favourite fan I am your biggest and most fun out of everyone on YouTube hope this will make a happy for you on the app and I will see them in the article and I will like it as well and a half subscribed that’s off on me bye-bye for now
